Traditional Native American Clothing of the Early 21st Century

"Traditional Native American Clothing of the Early 21st Century" 19x25 color pencil on paper. Inspired by the vintage paper dolls of the late 50's early 60's. I'm not a psychologist so I can't tell you the effects of seeing your people only portrayed in a certain way. I can only speak on my own experience of being a little kid and looking for others on t.v. that I could identify with. Only person I could find was Erik "Ponch" Estrada from "CHiPs". So as a young'un I pretended to be a motorcycle cop. So my thought is, what if our youth could see there selves not in just a historical context, but as doctors, lawyers, astronauts. So that's when I decided to make these drawings.

My Letter to Citi Card

I get numerous letters from credit card companies telling me I'm pre-approved for a credit card with outrageous interest rates and fees.  Her is what I sent back to them.  It reads:
"Dear Citi Card
I am not now, nor will I ever be interested in your "subprime" credit card featuring 39.9% (APR) and $60 annual fee. However, I didn't want to waste your prepaid stamped envelope, so I drew this picture of what I hope will be the future relationship between your company and me. (You're the one with the gun)
Sincerely
Steven Judd

New Mayan Calendar's

Just a reminder, for those of you that use the Mayan Calendar it's about to expire and I'll have the new one's ready for you to pre-order in about a month. They will be good for about 5,000 years. I think you're going to like the pictures that I picked out.

A short film I directed:
